What is Wolverine Blend?
Wolverine Blend is a two-peptide research blend that combines BPC-157 and TB-500 in one lyophilised vial. BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide, 15 amino acids long, derived from a protective protein sequence found in human gastric juice. TB-500 is a synthetic, N-acetylated seven-residue fragment of thymosin beta-4 (Ac-LKKTETQ) containing the protein’s actin-binding motif.
The two peptides are the most frequently co-investigated compounds in the repair and recovery research literature, because they act through largely separate pathways: BPC-157 is associated with nitric oxide and growth-factor signalling, whereas TB-500 is studied for actin regulation and cell migration.
GenoPept supplies Wolverine Blend as a lyophilised powder in 4mg (2mg BPC-157 + 2mg TB-500), 10mg (5mg + 5mg) and 20mg combined vials for in-vitro laboratory research in the UK. Each batch carries a Certificate of Analysis covering both components.
Wolverine Blend research applications
Research on the BPC-157 and TB-500 combination draws on the separate preclinical literature for each peptide and on studies that examine them together. The main directions are listed below and none are approved uses.
Tendon and ligament injury models
BPC-157 has been studied in rat Achilles tendon and ligament transection models, and TB-500 in tendon and muscle regeneration work. Wolverine Blend lets laboratories test whether the two mechanisms are complementary in one model.
Skeletal muscle and crush injury
Both peptides have been investigated in rodent crush and laceration models, with end points such as fibre regeneration, fibrosis and functional recovery.
Dermal wound and angiogenesis research
TB-500 and thymosin beta-4 are extensively studied in dermal wound models, while BPC-157 is reported to affect VEGFR2 signalling; combined studies examine wound closure, collagen deposition and vessel formation.
Comparative mechanism studies
Because the two peptides act through distinct pathways, side-by-side experiments help separate actin-mediated migration effects from nitric oxide and growth-factor effects; see our BPC-157 vs TB-500 research comparison.
Mechanism of action (preclinical)
BPC-157 has no single classical receptor. Preclinical studies associate it with modulation of the nitric oxide system, increased phosphorylation of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and paxillin in fibroblasts, and up-regulation of VEGFR2 and EGR-1, linking it to fibroblast migration and angiogenesis.
TB-500 reproduces the LKKTET actin-binding motif of thymosin beta-4, which sequesters monomeric actin and regulates cytoskeletal dynamics and cell motility. In Wolverine Blend the two mechanisms are investigated together; all findings described here are preclinical and offered as research context only.

Bulk boxes of 10 vials save 20–50% against single-vial pricing; see the bulk and wholesale page for details. Orders of £200 or more qualify for free tracked UK delivery.
Reconstitution, handling and storage (laboratory)
Unopened vials should be stored at –20 °C for long-term storage, or at 2–8 °C for short periods, always protected from light. Keep vials sealed until the day they are needed.
To reconstitute, allow the vial to reach room temperature, then add bacteriostatic water or another sterile diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently until the powder dissolves; never shake, because shear can damage peptide chains. Because the vial contains two peptides, calculate the working concentration of each component separately from the composition on the label; a 10mg (5mg + 5mg) vial in 2 ml gives 2.5 mg/ml of each peptide.
Once in solution, keep the vial at 2–8 °C and use it within the period stated in your laboratory protocol. See our guides on how to reconstitute research peptides and how to store research peptides.
Quality assurance and Certificate of Analysis
Purity and identity results are batch-specific. Consult the applicable supplied report for its results and methods; confirm the batch covers current stock and verify the laboratory’s accreditation scope directly.
Use the “View Certificate of Analysis” button on this page to open the COA for the current batch, or browse the complete library at genopept.co.uk/coa-certificates. Our guide on what a Certificate of Analysis shows explains how to read the chromatogram and mass spectrum. Vials carry lot number and expiry so results trace to the exact material supplied.

Wolverine Blend frequently asked questions
What is Wolverine Blend used for in research?
Wolverine Blend is used in preclinical research that examines BPC-157 and TB-500 together, most often in rodent models of tendon, ligament, muscle and dermal injury and in cell-migration assays. Having both peptides in one vial simplifies additive-effect and comparative designs. GenoPept supplies the blend solely for in-vitro laboratory research, and all published findings are from animal or cell models.
How is Wolverine Blend supplied and what purity is it?
Purity and identity results are batch-specific. Consult the applicable supplied report for its results and methods; confirm the batch covers current stock and verify the laboratory’s accreditation scope directly.
How should Wolverine Blend be stored?
Store unopened Wolverine Blend vials at –20 °C for long-term storage or at 2–8 °C for short-term use, protected from light. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, keep the solution at 2–8 °C and use it within the period stated in your laboratory protocol. Both peptides are stable under these conditions, but repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided.
Is Wolverine Blend for human use?
No. Wolverine Blend from GenoPept is for in-vitro laboratory research only. It is not a medicine, is not approved for human or veterinary use in the UK or elsewhere, and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. We do not provide dosing or administration information, and purchasers must confirm that the blend is being bought for legitimate research.
Why combine BPC-157 and TB-500 in one vial?
The two peptides are studied for different mechanisms: BPC-157 for nitric oxide and growth-factor signalling, TB-500 for actin binding and cell migration. Researchers investigating whether these pathways are complementary in a repair model can use a pre-combined vial with a defined ratio, which reduces handling steps and ensures both peptides come from the same verified batch.
