What is GLOW Blend?
GLOW Blend is a three-peptide research blend containing BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu in a single 70mg lyophilised vial. BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a gastric protective protein; TB-500 is a synthetic seven-residue, N-acetylated fragment of thymosin beta-4; and GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine.
The blend brings together two peptides studied for tissue repair with a copper peptide studied for collagen synthesis, matrix remodelling and gene expression in skin models. This is why GLOW Blend is listed in both the cosmetic and skin research and the repair and recovery categories at GenoPept.
The vial contains 70mg of peptide in total. The per-component quantities are stated on the batch Certificate of Analysis rather than on this page. GenoPept supplies GLOW Blend as a lyophilised powder for in-vitro laboratory research in the UK.
GLOW Blend research applications
GLOW Blend research draws on the separate preclinical literature for its three components and on studies that combine repair peptides with copper peptides. The main areas are summarised below and none are approved uses.
Dermal wound and skin remodelling models
GHK-Cu has been studied in fibroblast cultures and animal wound models for collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, while TB-500 and BPC-157 are investigated for keratinocyte and fibroblast migration; combined models examine wound closure and matrix quality.
Extracellular matrix and collagen research
Cell-culture studies explore whether copper delivery by GHK-Cu to lysyl oxidase complements the growth-factor and migration pathways associated with the other two peptides.
Angiogenesis and vascular signalling
All three components have been reported to influence vessel formation in preclinical systems, through VEGFR2 (BPC-157), thymosin beta-4 pathways (TB-500) and endothelial chemotaxis (GHK-Cu).
Cosmetic-science formulation studies
Ex-vivo skin and reconstructed epidermis models use GLOW Blend to examine combined effects on dermal thickness markers, antioxidant enzymes and inflammatory cytokines; our GHK-Cu research guide covers the copper peptide background.
Mechanism of action (preclinical)
Each component of GLOW Blend has a distinct preclinical mechanism. BPC-157 is associated with nitric oxide system modulation, FAK-paxillin phosphorylation and VEGFR2 up-regulation. TB-500 carries the LKKTET actin-binding motif of thymosin beta-4 and regulates actin polymerisation and cell motility.
GHK-Cu binds copper(II) through its histidine and lysine residues and delivers it to copper-dependent enzymes such as lysyl oxidase and superoxide dismutase; it has also been reported to modulate the expression of many genes involved in matrix remodelling, DNA repair and inflammation. Whether these pathways are additive in a combined system is the question GLOW Blend is designed to help researchers test; all findings are preclinical.
GLOW Blend product specifications
Component values are drawn from public chemical databases; LC-MS identity testing confirms all three peptides in every batch. Per-component quantities appear on the batch COA.

Available sizes
GLOW Blend is currently supplied in one combined vial size:
- 70mg vial – BPC-157 + TB-500 + GHK-Cu, 70mg total peptide; component breakdown on the COA
Bulk boxes of 10 vials save 20–50% against single-vial pricing; see the bulk and wholesale page for details. Orders of £200 or more qualify for free tracked UK delivery.
Reconstitution, handling and storage (laboratory)
Unopened vials should be stored at –20 °C for long-term storage, or at 2–8 °C for short periods, always protected from light. Keep vials sealed until the day they are needed.
To reconstitute, allow the vial to reach room temperature, then add bacteriostatic water or another sterile diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently until the powder dissolves; never shake, because shear can damage peptide chains. GLOW Blend reconstitutes to a blue-tinted solution because of the copper peptide; use the component quantities on the COA to calculate the concentration of each peptide in your stock.
Once in solution, keep the vial at 2–8 °C and use it within the period stated in your laboratory protocol. See our guides on how to reconstitute research peptides and how to store research peptides.
Quality assurance and Certificate of Analysis
Purity and identity results are batch-specific. Consult the applicable supplied report for its results and methods; confirm the batch covers current stock and verify the laboratory’s accreditation scope directly.
Use the “View Certificate of Analysis” button on this page to open the COA for the current batch, or browse the complete library at genopept.co.uk/coa-certificates. Our guide on what a Certificate of Analysis shows explains how to read the chromatogram and mass spectrum. Vials carry lot number and expiry so results trace to the exact material supplied.

GLOW Blend frequently asked questions
What is GLOW Blend used for in research?
GLOW Blend is used in preclinical research that combines tissue-repair peptides with a copper peptide, typically in dermal wound, fibroblast, ex-vivo skin and reconstructed epidermis models. Researchers examine collagen synthesis, cell migration, angiogenesis and inflammatory markers when the three components are present together. GenoPept supplies GLOW Blend solely for in-vitro laboratory research; published findings are from animal and cell models.
How is GLOW Blend supplied and what purity is it?
Purity and identity results are batch-specific. Consult the applicable supplied report for its results and methods; confirm the batch covers current stock and verify the laboratory’s accreditation scope directly.
How should GLOW Blend be stored?
Store unopened GLOW Blend vials at –20 °C for long-term storage or at 2–8 °C for short-term use, protected from light. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water the blue-tinted solution should be kept at 2–8 °C and used within the period stated in your laboratory protocol. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and contact with metal surfaces that could compete for copper.
Is GLOW Blend for human use?
No. GLOW Blend from GenoPept is for in-vitro laboratory research only. It is not a medicine or a cosmetic product, is not approved for human or veterinary use, and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. We do not provide dosing, application or administration guidance, and purchasers must confirm the blend is for legitimate research.
What is the difference between GLOW Blend and KLOW Blend?
GLOW Blend contains three peptides, BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu, in a 70mg vial and is oriented towards skin, matrix and repair research. KLOW Blend adds a fourth peptide, KPV, an alpha-MSH-derived tripeptide studied for NF-κB inhibition in inflammation models, in an 80mg vial. Laboratories choose KLOW when an anti-inflammatory arm is part of the study design.
